Child who died in car crash not in car seat
Posted By Zane Cagle
A toddler died in a car accident earlier this month in a two-car accident that sent five people to the hospital.

The state Highway Patrol said that the child was not in a child car seat or wearing a normal seat belt when the car he was riding in stalled on the highway.  An SUV, unable to avoid the collision, slammed into the car, fatally injuring the toddler, who died two days later from head trauma.

According to reports, the driver of the car, and mother of the child, had been ticketed twice for failing to restrain a child in a car seat.

Almost every state has a law requiring children of a certain age or size to be in a car seat.  Failing to do so could make you liable for injury.

If you were injured in a car accident, contact an experienced Car Accident Attorney at Page Cagle in St. Louis today for a free initial consultation.

Family files $5million suit after truck accident
Posted By Zane Cagle
The family of a bicyclist who was killed in a collision with a truck filed a wrongful death suit for $5 million against both the trucker and his employer.

The accident occurred when the victim was riding his bicycle behind the truck.  When the trucker turned right, the victim became caught in the truck's rear wheels, killing him instantly.

The suit alleges negligence on behalf of the driver because a surveillance video showed that the driver failed to use his turn signal or ensure the road was clear of traffic, cyclists, and pedestrians.  The video also shows that the biker was following proper bicycle laws, and that the trucker did not even stop after running the victim over.

If you were injured in a truck accident, it is crucial that you contact a Truck Accident Attorney immediately to learn what to do next.  At Page Cagle in St. Louis, we have a team of skilled personal injury available now to take your call. Contact us today.
