The mother of an Oklahoma woman who died in an helicopter crash last month has filed a wrongful death suit against multiple defendants, including the helicopter pilot’s estate and a California business. The wrongful death suit claimed that the pilot, who also died in the accident, negligently operated the aircraft, causing the accident and the subsequent death of the plaintiff’s daughter. In many cases involving airplane crashes, the fact that the accident occurred in the first place implies some element of negligence on the pilot’s behalf.
