One Killed and One Seriously Injured in Illinois Semi Accident

A 35-year-old Illinois man was killed in an auto crash with a semi truck on Illinois 143 Friday morning. Illinois State Police said that a 22-year-old Illinois woman rear ended a semi that was slowing down to turn off of highway 143. The man killed was a passenger in car. The driver of the car was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries. The semi truck driver was not injured.
