One Pedestrian Killed & One Seriously Injured in Car-Pedestrian Crashes in St. Louis, Missouri

Two pedestrians were struck by cars in the city of St. Louis last week. On Saturday, a man was walking on Highway 40 near South 14th Street when he was struck by a car driven by a 24-year old man. The pedestrian accident occurred around 2:45 a.m. According STL Today, the driver of the vehicle stayed at the accident scene unlike the driver of a car that hit a woman on Thursday on South Jefferson near Hickory Street. The woman was the victim of a hit and run accident and died at the scene of the accident. Investigators are still trying to locate the driver of the vehicle in the fatal crash.
