A tragic semi truck crash in Georgia killed a three-year-old boy and severely injured the rest of the family when their minivan was rear ended.
According to news reports, evidence indicates that the truck driver didn’t even hit his brakes before plowing into the van, going an estimated 70 mph. Other details about the crash, however, are less clear and the Police are still trying to figure out how the trucker didn’t see the slowed traffic or why he failed to hit his brakes.
Although trucks make up only a small percentage of vehicles on the road, they cause a much larger percentage of traffic deaths. After getting injured in a truck accident, it is important to speak with a Truck Accident Attorney to begin the process of filing a claim.
