A Jerseyville teenager was killed Saturday on Lake Lou Yeager in a boating accident. According to the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, the girl was killed by contact with the boat’s propellers. The driver of the boat was apparently trying to pull out of a cove where several other boats where anchored as well, when the boat came into contact with the teenager. The conservation police are continuing their investigation. Lake Lou Yaeger is a reservoir about 50 miles northeast of St Louis.
