Why Do You Need an Attorney?

Posted on February 6th, 2021 by Zane Cagle
Honestly, you may not need an attorney! Over half of the people that contact me actually need a personal injury attorney. Generally, you need an attorney if you are experiencing one or more of the following circumstances:
- You have been seriously injured
- Another party or insurance company is saying you are at fault
- You have an injury that is going to impact the rest of your life
- You have an injury that has destroyed your life
I always ask, “Are you hurt?” because only you know. Your children, your spouse, or significant others do not know if you are hurt—only you know if you are hurt.
At The Cagle Law Firm, we only represent those that are seriously injured. We also represent victims of wrongful death, meaning a loved one has died due to the negligence of another. We practice personal injury so that we focus all of our legal knowledge and trial skills are someone who has been seriously hurt. We don’t wish for you to be seriously hurt—we are just there to help if you are.
Navigating the insurance claim process can be complicated and I often get questions from people asking if a settlement or offer is fair after they have been in a car accident or have experienced a slip and fall. I’m more than happy to answer those questions because information is power. If you have been in an accident and you are not injured—good! Then you probably don’t need us. Only if an insurance company or other party is claiming that the accident is your fault do you need an attorney.
At our firm, consultations are always free. As I said, half of the people that call me do not need an attorney and I am happy to provide the information to you to make that decision.
