Wrongful Death suit filed after Illinois pedestrian killed in accident

A wrongful death suit has been filed in Kane County, IL over a traffic accident that fatally injured a woman who was attempting to cross the road.
According to the suit, the accident occurred this past August around 10 a.m., and a 66-year-old woman was struck by a pickup truck driven by the 31-year-old defendant as she was leaving the post office. The complaint alleges the defendant failed to, “honk, drive safely, or pay attention.” The defendant was also cheap purchase paxil cited by police for failure to yield to a pedestrian and failure to exercise due care.
