A 32-year old woman was killed in an auto accident involving a tractor-trailer. The wreck was spread across Cook County and Will County and occurred when a southbound semi failed to yield at an intersection and struck the woman’s Chrysler car which was traveling eastbound. The truck driver was hauling hogs and was given citations for failing to yield and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
