Last Saturday, a two-car accident in Phoenix took the lives of a 3-year-old boy and two others. According to the Phoenix Police, witnesses saw the driver responsible for the accident speeding down the road when he struck a white Murano. The toddler and another passenger in the Murano were ejected from the SUV and died at the scene. The Murano’s driver was taken to the hospital in serious condition. The passenger in the speeding car, a 19-year-old, also died. The driver, however, sustained only non-life-threatening injuries. Although the crash remains under investigation, police believe that drugs and alcohol may have been a factor. This means that the families affected by the accident could sue the speeding driver for wrongful death or for injury compensation (personal injury).
